I’m a Dad of 2.5 (a son, a daughter and a golden retriever) with nearly 20 years of experience in Recruitment but more important than my number of years experience, is how I operate.

I’m super transparent and will give you feedback that you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

I won’t oversell a candidate or a company to make a quick buck, I believe in long term relationships and karma.

I’m an introvert that is rarely the loudest person in a room but I thrive in 1:1 conversations because I listen to what both my clients and candidates are looking for to try and find the best possible match for both sides.

My Approach

I work directly with Founders a lot and have a strong understanding and empathy to their needs, which is why I’ve had success in recruiting for startups and scale ups from pre Seed to Series D.

I started my career in agency recruitment in Sydney, before moving to Melbourne to run two offices but managing Recruiters wasn’t my dream. I had a strong interest in the tech and startup clients I had worked with so set out to move internal.

I found a role at Linktree just as Covid hit and their product exploded so I went from being a contract recruiter to their Founding Talent Partner, to their Head of Talent leading a team of 11. In 2 years we went from 20 to over 300 people and I remained hands on as a recruiter as the part of my job I enjoy the most is finding THE match for the client and the candidate.

I’ve spent time with Mutinex (Martech startup) as their Founding Head of Talent/only recruiter and then Fleet Space Technologies as a Principal Talent Manager, filling complex technical roles in the Space & Mining tech industries.
