A big appeal for me to go independent was the ability to experiment with different ways of working.
For example for a couple of clients, they wanted me to run searches and provide a shortlist of candidates for them to reach out themselves.Others have had me consult on their hiring products for feedback.
Some just wanted me to promote their companies and jobs to my network through LinkedIn.
